Avaya G350 Media Gateway Networking System

The G350 Media Gateway provides a single system networking solution designed for enterprises with small branch offices of 8-40 users. As part of an Avaya Enterprise Connect Solution, the G350 is designed to network back to a central External Call Controller (ECC), such as the S8500 or S8700 Media Server.

This extends Avaya Communication Manager telephony services from a central media server to all branch office locations, significantly reducing costs by enabling the enterprise to design and administer telephony services for all remote branch office locations from one central location.

To simplify remote office deployment and management, the G350 integrates a VoIP Media Gateway, an IP WAN router, and a LAN switch into a single converged networking device. It features a six-slot modular chassis that accommodates an optional S8300 Media Server, and a variety of media modules. The G350 features an integrated TDM/IP architecture that supports a variety of station and trunk interfaces:

. Power over Ethernet (PoE) IP telephones

. DCP digital telephones

. Analog telephones and trunks

. E1/T1 trunks

. ISDN PRI trunks

. ISDN BRI trunks

. E1/T1 IP WAN data lines

This allows the G350 to be configured for integration into all TDM, hybrid TDM/IP and all IP Telephony environments, giving enterprises great flexibility to adapt to changing business needs, and to migrate their telephony infrastructure at their own pace.
